Title: IMAP settings
Post by: Mad-Batter on June 04, 2016, 12:55:27 AM
After many years of trying I have finally been able to get gmail to work with The Bat! :)

There is an obscure setting in gmail that allows "less secure" apps like The Bat to work with Gmail.  :)

There is just one problem. Because I still can't get POP to work I am using IMAP.
The Bat will fetch e-mails but it gets stuck at this screen:

'Connection Centre'
There is a down arrow next to the account, even though messages have completed.
And the bottom icon called 'Details' is selected.

The only way to make the screen go away is to click on
'Hide'.
But this has to be done for each e-mail download!

Any ideas on how to fix this?
It sure would be nice to get gmail to work with The Bat.
Previously I have had to forward my gmail to The Bat.

I had the same problem and found that I needed to set the disconnect time in the Options - see screenie for which bit to tweak. Hope this helps. :)
