No really, you do not want this Quechup! It's supposedly a social networking site which lets you make links and new friends but it appears to have some seriously questionable practices. SiteAdvisor gives it a big thumbs down as do many reviews elsewhere:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/quechup.com/ and reading through the terms of use of Quechup, it takes all the rights you have to anything and everything you post onto the site:
http://quechup.com/conditions.php By posting Content to any public area of Quechup.com, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Quechup.com an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.
[quoted under the UK's fair use Copyright laws] (I wonder if this clause is actually legal in the UK? The site is based in Newbury, and is subject to UK Law it says.)
As part of the signup process it also asks you for the login name/password of your email account so it can scan your address book for other Quechup members. Reviews state this isn't all it does, and that they email everyone in your email address with invites to go join them too! So that's spam with quechup then?
So if anyone invites you to join up, I would seriously recommend you think carefully about the implications before you do so.
