We think this is a new malware that has appeared recently. We've had three in the space of ten minutes having never seen them before. The size of the message is small, typically 4 - 5kb, with the From name being the same as the Subject line.
The text is a lift from the official SNORT user manual, but as yet we do not know what the purpose of these mails is. We'll update as soon as possible, but meanwhile please don't click any links in such messaqes. If you have the option not to download them, using a mail scanner such as MailWasher or The Bat! then that is a wiser option as this may be something the anti-virus programs won't pick up on yet.
