How random are cookie lines
« on: December 30, 2008, 05:24:54 PM »
Still very new to TB!  Just trying to set up cookies, but wanted to check how often TB! changes the cookie line?  Am I understanding this right?  I thought the whole point of a cookie file was to insert a different line every time you compose a new email.  Do you have to actually send the email before it chooses another line, or is it done on a time basis, and is it configurable?

To be honest, I'm not sure how random they are. Mine seems to just choose just them totally at random for each new email. The more choices in your cookie file, the less you'll see each one used I suppose.  As far as I'm aware you can't customise the setting as I think it's hard-coded into the program itself.
Cheers!

Ta very much.  Actually, I've played around with it a bit more and it's just as you say, the more quotes you add, the more diverse it becomes.

Cheers, Colin  :)
