Mass Mail using data from Excel (or CSV)
« on: February 12, 2004, 10:29:08 PM »
I have a spread sheet (either Excel or can save as CSV) containing data such as email address, order quantity, product code etc and I want to create a mass mailing which emails the person and in the body of the text something like

Your order for %x quantities of %product have been despatched and should be with you shortly.

Where %x and %product have been extracted from the Excel/CSV file.

Is tis possible and how does one do it (using TB macros??)

I suspect it can be done, but I have no idea how as this isn't something I've experience of.

Your best bet with this question would be to ask on the TBUDL mailing list as there are a lot of experienced macro/regex TB! users on there who should be able to help you set this up.
