Mass Mailing and Subject Line
« on: October 13, 2005, 01:53:10 PM »
How can a template be created in a way that it adds a Subject Line into the message?

Normally, when using a template for mass mailing, the Subject Line will be empty which is very inconvenient.

Cheers!

In your mass mailer template use the following macros %SUBJ="your subject" substituting the bit between the "" for the subject you want to use.  As this means you need to change the template before each mailing it may be more useful to set a generic Subject line rather than customise each mailing, but it's up to you how you do this. I use the generic type for mine, e.g. a subject line of %SUBJ="Blah.com Information Newsletter". Hope this helps. :)
